Cissie’s career as a real estate agent in Aiken officially began in 2006 though she acquired market knowledge and experience several years prior as a buyer and seller of homes, she and her husband, Michael, “re-invented” for re-sale. As a real estate agent, Cissie is repeatedly rated highly in customer service as well as consistently ranked “Best of the Best” among her peers at Meybohm, with honors including 2011 and 2017 Aiken Downtown Agent of the Year; Aiken Downtown Team of the Year 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and “Top 25” among all Meybohm agents 2015-2021. Cissie and Tracey were honored with the Gold Elite Award for Meybohm, South Carolina, and the Outstanding Customer Service Award for 2018, and in 2021 received Meybohm's Platinum Elite Award.
Cissie, a native Nashvillian, is a graduate of Ole Miss and has an M.B.A., from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. Cissie lived in New York City for 15 years, working in management consulting and the interior design industry. She enjoys her dogs, horse, golf, and both lawn and court tennis as well as fundraising for the Hitchcock Woods Foundation and Aiken Center for the Arts for which she also serves as a Board member. Her husband gives his time and efforts as President of the Aiken Tennis Club, Treasurer of the Aiken SPCA, and Board Member for Great Oak, Aiken’s therapeutic riding facility and program.
