Foxchase on Hitchcock Woods
If you are seeking a genuine community to call your own, look no further than Foxchase on Hitchcock Woods. This community offers gently rolling terrain, mature landscaping, and stunning longleaf pines, providing a serene connection with nature. Foxchase is uniquely designed as an equine-centered community, making it the sole equine-focused neighborhood with amenities in Aiken offering direct access to Hitchcock Woods and its extensive network of over 70 miles of trails. Moreover, there are four miles of designated trail easements within the community, ensuring convenient access for riders and walkers to explore the Woods.
The inaugural home in Foxchase was constructed in 1965, and today it comprises 111 residences along with one vacant building lot. More than half of the residents own horses and have appropriate structures for their equine companions, while other homes incorporate equestrian elements even if not used for horses. Community amenities include trails, a horse arena, and a swimming pool. Situated just a brief ten-minute drive from the historic downtown area of Aiken, Foxchase on Hitchcock Woods offers a tranquil living environment in a welcoming neighborhood. Foxchase Swim Club
Foxchase Swim Club
The Foxchase Pool operates under the ownership and management of its members. Priority is given to Foxchase residents for membership, while non-residents are also encouraged to join to help reduce costs for everyone. The Swim Club members contribute all necessary funding and volunteer work to ensure the pool's ongoing functions. The main objective is to preserve the pool as an appealing amenity for the Foxchase community.
Residents can join for an annual fee of $350 if they commit to cleaning for two weeks during the summer (a $100 cleaning deposit is mandatory, refundable upon completion of cleaning). Those who prefer not to participate in cleaning can join for $450. Residents who own a pool but still wish to join can do so at $175 per season.
The pool offers a refreshing escape during the hot South Carolina summers. Monthly pool parties are organized on the third Friday of each summer month, with hot dogs and hamburgers provided. Everyone brings a dish to share, creating a festive atmosphere. Keep an eye out for signs at the front entrance to join in the fun and get to know your neighbors better. All are invited to join in the celebrations.

Arena
Access to the Foxchase Arena is exclusive to members only. The Waiver & Rules for utilizing the arena are displayed on-site and can be found in the mailbox near the Arena Gate. Alternatively, you can download the waiver and rules here:
Authorized Users are Foxchase Homeowners or their renters who have settled their Foxchase Homeowner Annual Fee and Annual Arena Fee for the current year. Each Authorized User's guests and trainers are required to pay their fees for the current year. Prior to using the Arena, all equestrian users must provide a current negative Coggins test and a completed waiver. For any payments, forms, or questions, please contact the Chairperson.
